Michael D’Amico, 78, died Friday, June 30, 2006 under the care of Hospice Savannah at the residence of his good friend Gail Hutchins.

Mr. D’Amico was born September 27, 1927 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to the late Pasquale and Minnie D’Amico. He was a twenty year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. and served in Vietnam. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and his wife, Nina Pearle D’Amico.

Mr. D’Amico is survived by his twin brother, Frank D’Amico of Greensburg, PA; one sister, Alvera Harkabusic of Irwin, PA; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Gail Hutchins, Teddy Bear, Snix, Mr. and Mrs. John O. Futch and Bobby and Jeanie Kirkland.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2006, from 12 noon to 2 p.m.at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with full military honors.
